Its weird, really, how being in the bathroom and staring at yourself in the mirror can make you realize so many new things.

I realized that Im getting old. XD I'll be 20 next year. Thinking about it gives me butterflies. Feeling a wee bit nervous and at the same time Im excited about it.

Not everyone might know about this but I come from a family where Visual Kei, Cosplay, Goth etc.. are unknown. Tho, Ive always been the odd one so I guess having that "rep" helped me along thru the years of being the "weird one". They see me in a different way as compared with mi other cousins and so I can pretty much get away with being over the top.

So I wondered if maybe, they see me as someone immature.. you know? cause not everyone my age likes dressing up in VK-ish/EGL/Cosplay fashion.. and of course the whole "sub-culture" is pretty much non-existent to them. I think they find me immature and weird. I dont think it makes me immature though. I mean, I can confidently say that I am mature. Mature enough to know what makes a person mature. XD Its just that I have a "weird" hobby. Weird cause not everyone knows or appreciates it. ><;;

Ive never been one to ask or think about how people see me BUT this case is different. I think.

Whatever. hahaha.. I should just think about my costume for tomorrow. We're having a family reunion/costume party--- @ 12 noon.

XDD I guess the "weirdness" runs in the family after all. XDD I just embrace it more than them.

Finally, finals are over and I can breathe easy again

Over the month/s? I havent been posting here I realized a few things.

1. That I have real good friends.. those from the years before and those I recently met, my lovely classmates. I mean, its not always like that right? most friends end up falling apart. Lucky me. ^^

2. That patience is rewarded. SINGAPORE HERE I COME! hahahahaha.

3. That I can actually get sick from too much studying.

4. That I really really like this guy and he might actually like me back. which is weird cause I never did care for varsity types.. but what the hell.. he's cute.

5. That I have passion for french and spanish music. currently loving Alizee and Juanes.

Ive also rekindled my love affair with the band "ALL AMERICAN REJECTS"..

Ive also realized that it takes time for one to actually know oneself. I dont believe those who say they know who they are but obviously pretend to be someone their not. Ive gone through so many things and still, I dont know who Iam.. But yea, I learned through each and everyone of those experiences and I guess its part of the process.

*Its a beautiful song for long distance lovers-- or people who are in love with people who are living far from them. *raises hand* I, for one, can relate. :) The song is poetry. The 2 singers sang it very well. I dont think anyone else would be able to top what they did. Their collaboration is a match made in music heaven. :) Its not just another ballad, mind you. Its done in Jay's style. Its like a classic Chinese song done in a smooth R&B way.. Even non-Chinese music listeners would surely fall in love with this song. :)

The past weeks have been quite stressful and I dont think Ive seen the finale just yet. Ive got so many things to worry about-- and keep telling myself that I really shouldnt stress about it much.
